Job Description: Lead Data Governance Analyst Location: Onsite, 5 days/week, 2550 W Tyvola Rd #200, Charlotte, NC 28217 Employment Type: Contract-to-Perm (6 months) Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join the Global Analytics & Insights organization. This role focuses on developing and executing data quality monitoring processes, dashboards, and reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business data owners and technical teams to ensure data integrity, maintain governance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues. • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools. • Document business rules and refine data quality checks. • Monitor compliance with data quality standards and metrics. • Investigate root causes of data issues and recommend corrective actions. • Support tool enhancement projects and new reporting solutions. • Ensure proper documentation of data lineage and metadata. • Participate in change management and process improvement initiatives. • Create and maintain operating procedures for all processes. Required Skills & Experience • 3–5 years in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Information Management. • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and query writing. • Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar tools). • Experience with Informatica or similar data profiling tools. • Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake for pipeline development and data processing. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Nice-to-Have • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Governance frameworks.
