Data Governance Analyst We’re looking for a Data Governance Analyst who can turn data governance strategy into real, working processes. This role is perfect for someone who combines strong writing skills, attention to detail, and hands-on governance experience to drive impactful data initiatives across the organization. If you enjoy working with stakeholders, defining standards, and building governance frameworks from the ground up — this role is for you. What You’ll Do Translate data governance strategy into actionable processes, standards, and controls Draft and implement policies, standards, and SOPs (data quality, metadata, stewardship, access, retention) Support governance forums (councils, committees, working groups) – agendas, notes, decision logs Define metadata standards and contribute to MDM / reference data initiatives Build and maintain business glossary and metadata frameworks Drive governance-related project coordination (tracking, communication, facilitation) Develop RACI models, training materials, and communication artifacts Key Deliverables ✔ Data Governance Roadmap & Implementation Plan ✔ Governance Policies, Standards & SOPs ✔ Business Glossary & Metadata Toolkit ✔ Data Stewardship Framework (RACI), Training & Communications What We’re Looking For 5+ years in Data Governance / Data Management Excellent writing and documentation skills (clear, structured, minimal rework) Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata, and data quality Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills Nice to Have Healthcare domain experience Medicaid / NY State Medicaid exposure Experience with governance or metadata tools Why Join Us?
