Data Governance Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC/Chandler, AZ
Work Schedule: Hybrid
Duration: 12 months with a strong possibility to convert to full-time.

β’ Experience writing and managing user stories, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
β’ Strong data analytics background with experience working on data-driven projects and databases
β’ Experience managing policy governance and risk-related processes
β’ Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and related workflows/functionality
β’ Experience with user story development, clarification, and requirements gathering
β’ Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Visio
β’ Experience working with Postman, RESTful APIs, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies
β’ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and SharePoint

β’ Ability to analyze and present complex data in executive-level PowerPoint presentations to drive decision-making

Job Description:
β’ The role is responsible for the governance of hardware and software products that are approaching or have surpassed end of support (EOS).
β’ This includes ensuring that supporting EoS ServiceNow functionality operates as expected, managing enhancements to that functionality, creating and prioritizing user stories, and performing testing and validation.
β’ The role leverages ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data and Power BI to identify potential issues and partners with Product Owners and technology teams to ensure remediation plans are in place and progressing as expected.
β’ The role actively follows up on at risk items to drive accountability and timely resolution, escalates where remediation progress does not align with policy or risk expectations, and develops clear, concise PowerPoint materials to support executive, risk committee, and governance reporting.
β’ Reporting is expected to be accurate, timely, and aligned with leadership expectations.
In this contingent resource assignment, you may:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Business Execution challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
