Role description
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in information science, Computer Science, Database Management, Public Health, or a closely related field required; a masterβs degree in a related discipline preferred.
β’ 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
β’ Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills
β’ Experience communicating complex metrics into clear, non-technical written and verbal narratives.
β’ Strong understanding of data dictionaries, data standards, and metadata management frameworks.
β’ Experience with data governance or metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview or similar).
β’ Strong command of SQL, Python or R is highly valuable
β’ Experience working in healthcare, public health, or government data environments.
β’ Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and their implications for metadata and data standardization.
