Role description
Title: Data Governance Analyst Location: Remote (US) Length: 12 month contract Pay: 30 per hour W2 Summary: The data governance analyst is critical for ongoing efforts to enhance data trust, integrity, and reliability at an enterprise level. The role will involve developing and communicating data governance policies, managing their implementation, and contributing to strategic governance frameworks. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and maintaining defined data points in governance software and the cross-functional collaboration to curate the data inside of this solution to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities: 1. Data Quality and Integrity: Ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and maintained to high standards throughout its lifecycle 1. Centralizing Data Sources: Harmonizing conflicting data sources and centralizing them into a consolidated source of truth to improve data trust and accuracy 1. Leadership and Communication: Facilitating communications across multiple committees, and engaging with data consumers to build a community that supports governance practices and policies 1. Data Analytics: Performing data analytics to examine and interpret raw data, answering questions, and finding trends to improve customer relations and organizational efficiency 1. Data Engineering: Performing data engineering responsibilities as necessary to support or enhance the results of the data engineering team 1. Data Security and Compliance: Ensuring that data practices adhere to internal policies and external regulations Desired Experience: • Experience in ETL, data engineering, and Data Analysis • SQL experience with enterprise data (SQL Server, Oracle, DataBricks, SnowFlake) • 1+ years of experience working in a collaboration platform such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), DevOps, Jira or similar strongly preferred Preferred: • Previous healthcare experience
