Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join their team. As a Data Governance Consultant, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting various teams involved in data architecture, governance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Data Governance Consultant Location:Kinston, NC - Onsite What's the Job? โ€ข Serve as the program referent for all data-related governance and technical principles. โ€ข Represent, explain, and promote Data Governance principles across teams and stakeholders. โ€ข Ensure a consistent data architecture across all applications and services. โ€ข Consolidate and maintain data flow mappings between applications, business objects, and data sets. โ€ข Partner with architecture, governance, and external partners to implement data governance rules and standards. What's Needed? โ€ข Experience with data architecture, governance, and data flow management. โ€ข Strong understanding of data security, risks, and access management. โ€ข Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. โ€ข Ability to work onsite three times a week with flexibility for travel as required. โ€ข Legal authorization to work in the United States, with visas such as H1B, PR, or Green Card.
