Data Governance Consultant (Purview) Remote (UK-based) 6 months (Initial Contract) Inside IR35 SC Clearance required (active SC highly desirable) Overview A specialist Data Governance Consultant is required to lead the implementation of Microsoft Purview across a large-scale data platform. Responsibilities • Configure and deploy Microsoft Purview across the data estate • Implement data cataloguing, lineage, and classification frameworks • Define governance policies, standards, and controls • Work closely with engineering teams to integrate governance into pipelines • Support stakeholders with data discovery and compliance requirements • Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards Requirements • Proven experience implementing Microsoft Purview • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices • Experience with data classification, lineage, and metadata management • Familiarity with Azure data services (ADLS, Fabric, ADF) • Experience in regulated/public sector environments highly desirable • SC Clearance required (active SC highly desirable) Application Process If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your up-to-date CV along with your availability and expected day rate.
