Data Governance Enablement Analyst (Atlan)

Join us in a pivotal role to ensure data is effectively managed and accessible throughout our organization. As a Data Governance Enablement Analyst, you will drive the growth and adoption of our data governance strategies, making critical data elements trusted and insightful. Responsibilities • Configure and enhance our data governance platform to manage data sets, dashboards, and glossary terms. • Develop and maintain business glossaries and critical data elements, supporting data accessibility and integrity. • Implement ownership and certification processes to fortify data stewardship. • Facilitate automated metadata ingestion and verify data lineage across platforms. • Conduct sessions and workshops for stakeholders to encourage data governance adoption. • Add data quality context to governed assets, partnering with data quality teams for ongoing improvement. • Leverage APIs and scripting to automate metadata enrichment and connect with downstream systems. Skills • 3-5 years in data governance, analytics enablement, or data operations. • Experienced with data governance platforms like Atlan. • Solid understanding of modern data stacks and cloud data warehouses. • Collaborative team player, engaging both business and technical teams. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of data quality, privacy, and regulatory concepts. • Familiar with SQL, Python, and metadata automation techniques. • Experience with enterprise data governance frameworks.
