Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ownership and stewardship.
Develop and maintain metadata management and data catalog tools.
Implement data lineage tracking to improve transparency and auditability.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Support the integration of governance tools like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
Identify and resolve data quality issues in coordination with engineering teams.
Create documentation and training materials for governance processes.
Champion a culture of data responsibility and accountability.
