This is an opportunity to play a key role in building trusted, high-quality data foundations across a complex, data-rich environment supporting critical national infrastructure.

What youβll be doing
β’ Driving data governance standards, policies and best practices
β’ Partnering with the wider organisation
β’ Monitoring and improving data quality, integrity and consistency
β’ Supporting access management and role-based access controls (RBAC)
β’ Managing metadata and data cataloguing using Microsoft Purview
β’ Defining data lifecycle processes and governance controls
β’ Investigating and resolving data quality issues
β’ Delivering data literacy and governance training across the business
β’ Supporting GDPR and broader data protection compliance initiatives
What weβre looking for
β’ Experience in data governance, data stewardship or data management roles
β’ Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management and access controls
β’ Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar data catalogue/governance tools
β’ Knowledge of GDPR, data protection and governance best practices
β’ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
β’ Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
