Overview
We are looking for a Data Governance Lead to support a major Oracle Fusion HR implementation programme. This role will focus on improving HR data quality, identifying root causes of data issues, and embedding practical data governance processes across the programme.
This is a hands-on data role, suited to someone with a background in data analysis or data engineering, who is comfortable working directly with datasets to diagnose issues and drive improvements. • Work directly with datasets to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and gaps in data governance
• Collaborate with HR, programme, and technical teams to ensure accurate and consistent HR data
• Define and implement data standards, governance controls, and data quality rules
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities during the Oracle Fusion implementation
• Work with data engineers and analysts to improve data integrity and data flows
• Establish practical and sustainable governance processes that can be embedded across the organisation
Required Experience
• Strong background as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar data-focused role
• Experience in data governance roles with a hands-on approach to data
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve data quality issues at root cause level
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or transformation programmes
