Data Governance Manager

Job Title:- Senior Data Governance Analyst – Collibra & Snowflake Location:- Spring Texas (On-Site) Job Type:- Long Term Contract Job Requirements ·Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills. ·Takes initiative and delivers beyond scope, consistently stepping in to ensure results (e.g. hands-on) ·Systems engineering thinking and its application to identifying and driving sustainable data solutions across major projects. ·Strong communication skills to articulate data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ·Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ·Acknowledges customer needs but ensures data governance expectations are met; willing to improve data governance where proven to benefit the collective whole supporting corporate scale and integration Preferred Knowledge or Learning Opportunities ·Strong Understanding of data governance principles, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance. ·Excellent analytical skills to interpret and evaluate complex data, recognize patterns, and derive useful insights. ·Strong technical skills (including proficiency in data management software (Collibra), and database systems (Snowflake)), to manage and organize large amounts of data effectively. Needs to be able to create and edit basic SQL queries, edit Wiki and HTML, set up SharePoint lists, edit PowerBI and robust Excel skills ·Exceptional communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, explain complex data concepts in understandable terms, and promote data governance across the organization. ·Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify data discrepancies, anomalies, and quality issues. ·Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to maintain a comprehensive data governance framework. ·Understanding of data privacy and security regulations to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data. ·Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams, including IT, business operations, and Governance Lead, to implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures. ·Zoom, Mural and Draw.io proficiency is necessary with the expectation that they can lead, facilitate, host without support
