Summary: The Data Labeling Analyst (DLA) - STEM contributes to large scale technical projects and leverage analytical skills to help deliver lasting impact on Meta products and internal tools. As a subject-matter expert (SME) in Coding (PHP, Python, C++, React and general full-stack) you will contribute your expertise by: β€’ Code Development: Write and execute novel code from scratch. β€’ Data Annotation: Create in-house benchmarks, annotate data for key tasks when necessary, including writing SFT responses and judging output quality for RLHF. β€’ Quality Assurance: Evaluate and grade quality annotations produced for SFT (Supervised Fine Tuning) and RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) annotations for internal company tools. Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to optimize the quality of annotations. β€’ Guideline Development: Create, edit, and maintain high-quality project documentation and annotation guidelines tailored to your area of expertise. Ensure that these guidelines are up-to-date, clear, and concise to enable raters to deliver accurate annotations. Requirements: β€’ Education: BSc minimum requirement β€’ Experience: A minimum of 2+ years professional experience in roles writing code from scratch. Solid coding knowledge in all of the following languages: (PHP, Python, C++, React and general fullstack Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, C#). Nice to have but not required: 1+ year experience at another position that involved working with training datasets to train AI Models. β€’ Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance to internal teams. β€’ Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback. β€’ Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals. β€’ Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment. This is a remote 6 month contract role to the US ONLY, with a pay rate of $30.00/hour. This posting is for a contract assignment with Tundra Technical Solutions to provide services to Meta. The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.00/hour Tundra’s benefits offering includes optional medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, up to 15 Days PTO per annum and a New Child Benefit.
