Role description
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team as a Data Loader supporting the transition to new Platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in data-heavy environments and enjoys solving complex integration challenges. Key Responsibilities: • Design and write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support data migration and transformation efforts. • Perform data mapping and integration across heterogeneous systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Prepare and migrate reporting data and user-defined business applications from legacy systems to the new Clearing Platform. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Utilize new AI-powered data mapping tool, to dramatically reduce mapping time from days to minutes. • Maintain and optimize database performance across various technologies including Relational, Dimensional, Vertical, and NoSQL databases. • Track work progress and collaborate using tools like Jira and Git. Required Qualifications: • Proven expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning. • Strong experience in data mapping, data transformation, and data integration. • Deep understanding of database technologies: Relational, Dimensional, Vertical, and NoSQL. • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and open to adopting new tools and methodologies. • Experience with Jira and Git for task tracking and version control. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with AWS S3. • Familiarity with ETL tools and processes. • Exposure to Apache Iceberg is a plus.
