Job Description:
The Management Analyst will support the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center by delivering advanced data analysis, reporting, and decision-support related to procurement, human capital, and operational performance. This role focuses on assessing “metrics-that-matter,” ensuring data quality and integrity, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain complex data analyses, methodologies, and predictive models across procurement, human capital, and contract management domains.
• Analyze and report on systems such as CPARS, FPDS-NG, ECFS, contract closeout, certifications, and acquisition metrics.
• Collect, manage, and validate large datasets from internal and external stakeholders.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) to support leadership decision-making.
• Produce high-visibility ad hoc reports, quarterly/annual briefings, technical memos, research papers, and policy briefs.
• Support continuous process improvement, enterprise data quality initiatives, and risk assessments related to data integrity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, research, or management analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, data validation).
• Experience presenting complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
