Data Management Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC Salary: $53.00 USD Hourly - $57.00 USD Hourly Description: Job Title: Commercial Banking RFP - Data Management Consultant (Contingent Resource) Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Contract / Contingent Resource About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Consultant to support complex initiatives within Commercial Banking. This role involves strategic collaboration, advanced data analysis, and quality assurance across large-scale projects. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, testing accuracy, and compliance with internal standards. Responsibilities • Lead and consult on complex data management initiatives with broad impact. • Analyze multi-faceted data challenges requiring evaluation of unprecedented factors. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and meet project deliverables. • Perform functional, database (ETL), web service, and regression testing throughout the SDLC lifecycle. • Develop and maintain advanced SQL scripts to validate data conditions. • Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects. • Act as a subject matter expert (SME), mentoring junior staff and contract resources. • Create and implement system quality assurance reviews using data-driven test scenarios. • Design and execute data-centric test plans and scripts; review test plans created by others. • Conduct test data conditioning, regression testing, and validation. • Develop system testing strategies leveraging data insights. • Research and apply new industry methodologies and standards to improve testing practices. Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in SQL development and testing. • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server (queries, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, triggers). • 5+ years of experience with SDLC tools and methodologies. • 3+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services. • 2+ years of experience with JIRA for defect management. • 5+ years of experience in automation or regression testing. • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management (or equivalent experience through consulting, military service, or education). Preferred Skills • Strong understanding of QA development and implementation of testing practices. • Proven ability to lead testing efforts and mentor team members. • Experience working in a regulated environment with compliance requirements. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
