Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY. This is a contract opportunity through the end of 2026 with the possibility of an extension.
This position will support the analytics infrastructure team, which provides support for strategic analytics, communications analytics, and management reporting. This platform team ensures, in partnership with technology groups, all infrastructure, data acquisition, and value-added processing needs are met. This role will be responsible to liaise with technology partners, act as a primary contact for the communications analytics team, and develop a deep understanding of the business processes, concepts, and data behind global payments and liquidity products to effectively perform business and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a deep understanding of tools and databases our team owns and manages
• Act as a primary liaison between the infrastructure team and technical and downstream business partner teams
• Manage data infrastructure projects, through creating business requirements documents, reviewing functional/technical documents, communicating the strategy and direction to both management and technology teams, and directing technology implementation
• Lead discussions with the SMEs and data product consumers on enhancement requests and issue/defect resolution
• Assist in performing moderate to complex business and data analyses/assessments
• Manage the data acquisition process end to end, including consulting with analytics, authorized data source, and system of record partners
• Adhere to data security and governance regulations, guidelines, and policies
Requirements:
• 7 years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
• 5 years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• 4 years of writing moderate to complex SQL code (in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Hive, or Google Cloud Platform) with experience reviewing SQL code to assist in defect resolution
• Proven analytical thinking, problem solving skills with attention to detail
Desired skills:
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Global Payments and Liquidity products and services and Wholesale Banking
• Inquisitive and a fast learner of the business concepts, processes, and details
• Proven experience in consulting and leading discussions with partners on planning and executing highly complex business problems
• Experience in developing and managing great working relationships with business and technology partners
• Strong organizational and change management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Experience working in a fast paced environment managing multiple simultaneous complex initiatives
Pay range: $51.88 - $59.88 per hour
