Job#: 3045578 Job Description: Client: Financial Services Team: TBA Job Title: Data Management Analyst 4 – Contingent Location: Charlotte, NC (550 S Tryon St) Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite Required, Flexible Days) Contract Length: TBD (Likely Extension) Pay Rate: $59 - $63 Top Requirements • 7+ years of Business Analytics, Payments Risk, or related experience • 4+ years of advanced SQL development experience (Microsoft SQL Server or Hive) • Experience parsing and analyzing: • XML files • Delimited files • Fixed-width files • Strong reporting, analytics, and data pipeline development experience • Payments, Wires, or Financial Services analytics experience Plusses • Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) experience • Wholesale Banking experience • Wires processing experience • Payments risk experience • Financial Crimes controls experience • Data governance and controls experience Job Summary In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management within the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) organization. This role will support analytics and control monitoring activities related to wire payments, payment initiation channels, and risk controls. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between GPL Analytics and Frontline Risk teams while performing complex business and data analysis to support risk monitoring, audit readiness, control reporting, and operational decision-making. The role requires strong SQL expertise, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to understand complex wire payment processes, business rules, and data relationships. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Data Analysis & Management • Analyze wire payment data and payment initiation channels • Perform complex data investigations and root-cause analysis • Develop a deep understanding of: • Wires processing • Payment initiation channels • Payment controls • Financial crimes regulations • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and control gaps SQL Development & Data Engineering • Develop and maintain complex SQL code using: • Microsoft SQL Server • Hive • Parse and analyze: • XML files • Fixed format files • Delimited files • Build data extraction and transformation processes • Support development of reporting datasets and analytics solutions Risk & Control Analytics • Perform control monitoring and risk analytics • Compare wire instructions against payment initiation channel data • Validate control effectiveness and identify anomalies • Support risk, audit, and control reporting requirements Reporting & Executive Analytics • Develop reporting solutions for: • Business Analysts • Risk Teams • Control Teams • Audit Teams • Executive Leadership • Create meaningful reporting and analytics outputs • Support management reporting initiatives Stakeholder Engagement • Serve as liaison between: • GPL Analytics • Frontline Risk • Product Teams • Platform Support Teams • Business Owners • Lead discussions related to findings, remediation efforts, and resolution strategies • Partner with wire product SMEs and application owners Governance & Compliance • Ensure adherence to: • Data Governance Standards • Data Security Policies • Regulatory Requirements • Support compliance and audit-related inquiries • Maintain controls around data sourcing and reporting EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
