Role description
Sr. Palantir Developer NOTE: We cannot accept any C2C or H1B candidates. Must be able to work W2. We are seeking a Senior Palantir Engineer to serve as a technical leader at the intersection of Palantir Foundry capabilities and complex enterprise data and operational initiatives four leading healthcare client. This role combines deep expertise in Palantir Foundry with hands-on solution architecture, development, and deployment leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced Palantir practitioner who can independently architect, build, and operationalize enterprise-grade solutions while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders. This individual will act as a Palantir FDE, driving platform adoption and delivering high-impact solutions across inventory, operational, analytics, and data transformation use cases. Important: Candidates must have genuine, hands-on Palantir Foundry experience. Experience with adjacent data platforms is not a substitute. Contract Details: β€’ 100% remote β€’ Target Rate: starting at $85/hr W2, based on experience β€’ 12-month contract (potential to extend) β€’ MUST BE ABLE TO WORK W2 - NO C2C/H1B CANDIDATES Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture β€’ Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data integration pipelines using Palantir Foundry β€’ Architect scalable data models and Ontology structures, including object types, link types, action types, interfaces, and functions β€’ Develop and optimize Python, SQL, and Java-based transforms across distributed and lightweight processing frameworks β€’ Build TypeScript and Python Functions to support business logic, automation, and application functionality β€’ Create and configure Workshop applications, OSDK-based applications, and custom user experiences β€’ Implement enterprise data governance, security controls, permissions models, and access management frameworks β€’ Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, including agent-based automation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM-driven solutions Forward Deployed Engineering β€’ Serve as the primary technical resource for business stakeholders and platform users β€’ Translate operational and business challenges into scalable technical solutions β€’ Own the full deployment lifecycle, including discovery, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and support β€’ Troubleshoot complex data environments and integrate with legacy systems β€’ Deliver production-grade solutions that drive measurable business outcomes β€’ Identify opportunities to expand platform capabilities and support new use cases Team Leadership & Mentorship β€’ Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and architectural guidance to engineering teams β€’ Establish engineering best practices around testing, CI/CD, version control, and deployment standards β€’ Mentor engineers and platform users on Foundry development patterns and platform capabilities β€’ Contribute to internal documentation, reusable frameworks, and solution accelerators Platform Innovation β€’ Stay current on evolving Palantir capabilities, including Pipeline Builder, Code Workspaces, Model Studio, OSDK, AI Platform (AIP), Cipher, and streaming technologies β€’ Develop machine learning and predictive analytics solutions using both no-code and pro-code approaches β€’ Leverage the complete Foundry lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, ontology development, applications, actions, and writeback processes β€’ Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve platform utilization and solution design Required Qualifications: β€’ Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience (REQUIRED) β€’ Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices β€’ Experience with PySpark, Pandas, Polars, or similar data processing frameworks β€’ Deep understanding of Foundry Ontology concepts, including object types, link types, action types, interfaces, and functions β€’ Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale data pipelines β€’ Strong stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills β€’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, forward-deployed environment Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Strong BigQuery experience, including optimization, data warehousing, and migration initiatives β€’ Experience with Palantir AIP, including AIP Logic, AIP Agents, and LLM-powered workflows β€’ Experience with machine learning workflows and predictive analytics solutions β€’ Knowledge of data governance, access controls, ABAC, and enterprise security frameworks β€’ Experience contributing to internal tooling, reusable frameworks, or platform best practices Technical Skills We're Looking For: β€’ Python β€’ SQL β€’ TypeScript β€’ Java β€’ Palantir Foundry β€’ PySpark β€’ Pandas β€’ Polars β€’ DuckDB β€’ Pipeline Builder β€’ Incremental Pipelines
