Role description
Position: Data Manager
Employment Type: Part-time-
Location: San Pablo
Reporting To: Executive Director
Hourly Rate: Accepting bids, No Benefits Competitive, commensurate with experience
Overview:
As a Data Manager, you will oversee the organization's data organization's processes. You will be responsible for ensuring data systems' integrity and efficiency while utilizing your expertise in analytics, database design, and data analysis skills to drive informed decision-making.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Manage and develop the agency's services and donor databases.
· Extract data from databases in the form of reports and data export.
· Hire, train, and supervise data entry and help desk activities.
· Assist staff with light troubleshooting of computer problems.
· Work with the management team to manage and revise the data collection systems within the agency
· Oversee input of agency's service agencies for grant reports and donor appeals
· Hire, train, and supervise data entry and help desk activities
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
· Access database and VBA
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Good communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Experience in data modeling techniques
· Troubleshooting Windows-based computers and web page support experience
· Experience with SQL Server or MySQL
· Knowledge of non-profit reporting requirements
· Knowledge of Exceed! or other donor database systems
