Role description
This is a short term contract until January 2026 with possibility of extension.
With a high level of organization, you have experience working in data management software, as well as curating many types of information in order to pull analytics that the agency needs. You will work with the team to maintain multiple data sets accurately. You will be responsible for the review, evaluation, and auditing of this data. You have the ability to proactively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues that arise. You have excellent communication and management skills.
ยท Oversee data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting processes to provide accurate and timely insights for various marketing campaigns, initiatives, and targets
ยท Enter, update, and maintain data across databases, CMS tools, and other repositories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness
ยท Identify and address data quality issues, including data cleansing, deduplication, normalization, and standardization to maintain data accuracy and consistency
ยท Perform regular data quality checks and audits, resolving discrepancies and ensuring adherence to established data standards
ยท Optimize data storage, organization, and retrieval systems to ensure efficient management and accessibility of marketing data
ยท Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., analytics, IT, business development) to establish and maintain data governance standards and compliance with applicable data protection regulations
ยท Provide user support by responding to data-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues and offering guidance or training on data tools and processes
ยท Work closely with teams to find ways to improve workflows
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
ยท Proven experience 5 years working with marketing data and metrics, preferably in a marketing agency or similar environment
ยท Strong knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies, including data cleansing, data modeling, and data governance
ยท Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting using tools like AirTable, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
ยท Ability to work with large and complex data sets and an understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques
ยท Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a keen attention to detail
ยท Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
ยท Familiarity with marketing platforms, digital marketing channels, and CRM systems is a plus
ยท Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and experience in ensuring data privacy and security is highly desirable
