Title: Analyst, IS Business Intelligence
Location: Mahwah, NJ, 07430 (ONSITE)
Duration: Until Aug/ 2026 (4 months)
W2 Contract (No C2C)
Rate: $39 per hour
Responsibilities
β’ Support a large-scale ERP data migration validation team, ensuring data integrity as records move from legacy systems into SAP.
β’ Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to reconcile source and target record counts, surface discrepancies, and confirm completeness across migration batches.
β’ Perform primary key matching across source, target, and error/reject tables to identify data gaps and mismatches.
β’ Build and maintain stored procedures following a layered staging architecture.
β’ Optimize query performance on large datasets, including data type tuning, indexing strategies, and management of complex transformations.
β’ Materialize validation results into physical tables for consumption by Power BI reporting.
β’ Perform sampling-based validation where full query comparison is not feasible.
β’ Operate as an individual contributor, applying professional judgment and working independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Participate in collaborative working sessions and provide on-call and live troubleshooting support.
β’ Present validation findings and status updates to large audiences.
Qualifications
β’ Strong TβSQL and SQL Server experience, including stored procedures, CTEs, staging patterns, and dynamic SQL.
β’ Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and applying query performance tuning best practices.
β’ ERP data migration experience (SAP, JDE, Oracle) preferred.
β’ Experience with Azure Data Factory preferred.
β’ Awareness of Power BI and downstream reporting consumption preferred.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent practical experience required.
