Data Modeler
Location – Oakland, CA (Remote is fine)
Contract
JD for Data Modeler Role:
• Hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 implementation (preferably using tools like Erwin).
• Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality through validation and cleansing techniques.
• Provide guidance on data governance, standards, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data architecture.
• Support data migration from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Document data models, metadata, lineage, and business rules.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake SQL queries.
