Data Modeler/ Architect

Title: Data Modeler/ Architect Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Key Responsibilities: • Design and maintain logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler. • Translate business requirements into data structures that align with enterprise data architecture standards. • Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices. • Collaborate with ETL developers to ensure efficient data integration using Informatica PowerCenter. • Analyze source systems and create detailed data mappings and transformation rules. • Optimize and tune data models for performance and scalability in large data environments. • Participate in data governance initiatives, including metadata management and data lineage tracking. • Document data models and create comprehensive data dictionaries and ER diagrams. • Provide support for data warehouse and BI reporting requirements. • Work closely with DBAs, data analysts, and business users to ensure data consistency and quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect. • Strong proficiency in Erwin Data Modeler for designing and managing data models. • Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for data integration and ETL processes. • Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data pipeline architecture. • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and metadata tools is a plus.
