Position Summary:
We are seeking a Data Modeler to join a leading healthcare organization with operations supporting data-driven clinical, pharmacy, and business decision-making. This consultant will design, build, and maintain data models that transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights, analytics, and business intelligence solutions that support strategic planning and improved patient outcomes.
Essential Duties:
• Design and maintain data models supporting pharmacy, claims, clinical, and patient analytics.
• Analyze complex data requests using internal and external healthcare data sources.
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Identify data sources, methodologies, and structures needed for analytic solutions.
• Collect, organize, integrate, and interpret data for reporting and decision support.
• Improve data quality within analytical models and escalate issues to data stewards.
• Develop reports, findings, and recommendations for management and business partners.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of recent experience in data modeling, data analysis, and data mapping.
• Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Prior healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Medicare Part D reimbursement experience is a plus.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong data modeling and data mapping capabilities.
• Experience working with claims, pharmacy, enrollment, and clinical data.
• Strong analytical, business, and information technology acumen.
• Ability to identify data complexities and recommend practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $70 – 80.
