Role: Data Modeler / Data Scientist Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite – Monday to Thursday at client office) Duration: Long-term Contract Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler / Data Scientist with strong experience in scientific data and developing synthetic or small-scale data modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to design, build, and optimize data models that support advanced analytics and scientific use cases. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable data models for scientific and analytical applications Work with structured and unstructured scientific datasets Develop and implement synthetic data models and small-scale modules Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems Optimize data structures for performance and scalability Support data analysis and advanced analytics initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in data modeling and data analysis Experience working with scientific, research, or life sciences datasets Hands-on experience in synthetic data generation or small module development Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL Solid understanding of data structures, database design, and ETL processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Background in data science or a related field Experience in pharma, biotech, or scientific research domains Familiarity with machine learning concepts
