Role description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Data Modeling with a strong background in enterprise analytics and data architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable data models, ensuring data governance, and enabling analytics across the organization. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications • 7–10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise analytics. • Strong expertise in canonical/domain modeling, dimensional modeling, and semantic modeling. • Proven experience documenting data lineage and metadata using tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or native Databricks capabilities. • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent). • At least 3 years of experience working with life insurance, annuities, policy administration, claims, actuarial, or related financial services data preferred. • Solid understanding of ACORD data standards, product hierarchies, distribution channels, customer/party models, and regulatory reporting is a strong plus. • Familiarity with industry data models such as IBM IIW, Teradata ILDM, Oracle OIDF, or similar frameworks is advantageous. • Strong SQL skills with the ability to define and optimize complex queries. • Experience with Azure Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DBFS, and SQL endpoints, is an added advantage.
