Role description
Data Modeler Contract, RTH or Full Time Opportunity 5 days a week onsite in NYC, NY Looking for a Data Modeler to work on complex data mapping to support the platform's API-driven ecosystem. Responsibilities: • Database & Architecture: Designing, normalizing, indexing, and maintaining relational databases. • Legacy System Reverse Engineering: Dissecting undocumented databases and legacy systems to extract and map data flows accurately. • Open Finance Mapping: Aligning disparate client data (e.g., account balances, investment holdings, transaction history) into standardized formats for secure API sharing with third parties. • System Integration: Structuring data flows so they integrate smoothly into corporate accounting, treasury, and tax software like NetSuite, Workday, and QuickBooks. Role Qualifications & Technical Skills: Because we operate a high-volume fintech and treasury management platform, the ideal data modeler profile requires: • Relational Database Expertise: Deep understanding of Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning. • SQL & DB Administration: Strong proficiency in database design, querying, and DBA functions. • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial datasets, wealth management structures, and open finance API standards (such as FDX) is highly preferred.
