We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to join a high-impact Home Lending Data Modernization & Regulatory Reporting Transformation initiative. This role focuses on migrating legacy systems to a scalable GCP (BigQuery) environment and supporting FR Y-14M Mortgage Regulatory Reporting.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Design conceptual, logical & physical data models for Home Lending & regulatory reporting
• Build scalable data models optimized for GCP BigQuery
• Support FR Y-14M reporting (Loan-level, borrower, property, delinquency data, etc.)
• Translate regulatory requirements into data structures
• Drive data modernization (Raw, Curated, Business, Reporting layers)
• Collaborate with stakeholders across data, risk, governance & engineering teams
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance
🔹 Required Experience:
• 12+ years of Data Modeling experience
• Strong background in Banking / Financial Services
• Hands-on experience with Mortgage (Origination & Servicing) data
• Experience with FR Y-14 / Regulatory Reporting
• Expertise in GCP (BigQuery) and modern data warehousing
🔹 Technical Skills:
• Data Modeling: Dimensional, Data Vault, Star/Snowflake schemas
• Tools: ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner
• Platforms: GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub)
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Hive
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance, MDM, Metadata & Lineage
⭐ Preferred:
• Experience with large U.S. banks
• Agile environment exposure
• Familiarity with AI-driven data tools
