Role: Data Modeler Duration: 9 Months Location: Remote • Data Modeler - ETL Development & Leadership: Architect, develop, and optimize sophisticated ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources into Amazon Redshift and other platforms. • Cloud Data Integration: Lead implementation of data integration solutions using IICS to connect on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless data flow. • Data Modeling: Design and maintain advanced logical and physical data models to support enterprise-level data warehousing, analytics, and reporting needs, ensuring performance and scalability. • Data Warehousing: Spearhead development and optimization of Amazon Redshift data structures, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, and query performance tuning for large-scale datasets. • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data profiling, cleansing, and analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights, delivering high-impact reports and dashboards to stakeholders • Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize ETL processes, Redshift queries, and data pipelines to ensure high performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. • Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with business analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and mentor junior team members. • Data Governance: Enforce data quality, consistency, and integrity through robust validation, error handling, and governance practices. • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data models, workflows, and configurations while promoting best practices in data engineering. Required Qualifications: Experience: • 10-15 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for designing and implementing complex ETL workflows. • 5+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for cloud-based data integration and orchestration. • Extensive experience (8+ years) in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) for data warehousing and analytics solutions. • 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, performing advanced data profiling, analysis, and reporting to support business decision-making.
