Job Title: Data Engineer/Architect
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 12+ Months
Position Overview:
• Looking for a strong Data Engineer / Data Architect profile with experience transitioning databases from traditional SQL systems to Big Data environments.
• Candidate should have hands-on understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data modeling, specifically MongoDB.
Key Technical Requirements:
• Strong SQL knowledge is mandatory.
• Experience with Data Modeling for both relational and non-relational databases.
• MongoDB / NoSQL expertise required.
• Python preferred since the current environment is Python-based.
• Java knowledge is optional; basic or limited exposure is acceptable.
• Experience with Agentic AI / Strong AI concepts is highly preferred.
Project Scope:
• Migrating and modernizing database architecture from SQL-based systems to scalable Big Data solutions.
• Designing efficient data models across structured and unstructured data environments.
• Supporting AI-driven initiatives and intelligent automation use cases.
Soft Skills:
• Candidate must be empathetic and collaborative.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Blend of Data Engineering + AI exposure.
