Akkodis is seeking Data Operations Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Philadelphia, PA- 100% Onsite. Looking for an experienced Data Operations Engineer / DataOps Specialist to design, build, manage, and support reliable data pipelines and operational processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Python and a solid understanding of data movement, data quality, governance, monitoring, and performance optimization. DataOps responsibilities typically include automating ETL/ELT workflows, ensuring trustworthy data delivery, and improving the speed and reliability of data operations. Data Operations Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
• Build, manage, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Ensure smooth and reliable data flow across systems, warehouses, and applications.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual data handling and operational effort.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes to maintain data quality.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and accuracy across platforms.
• Define and enforce data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
• Monitor data pipelines and systems for failures, anomalies, and performance issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve incidents.
• Ensure SLA adherence for data availability and operational stability.
• Manage data platforms across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including data lakes and warehouses.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Support CI/CD practices for data systems and deployments.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and translate them into workflows.
• Support reporting, BI, and advanced analytics needs.
• Maintain pipeline documentation, lineage, and metadata.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, audit, and governance requirements.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $53.00 per hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
