Role description
Marketing Data Protection Analyst
The Compass Centre | Hybrid (3 days onsite β Wed anchor)
4-month contract (Contract-to-Hire)
Weβre looking for a Marketing Data Protection Analyst to join the Customer Marketing & Digital function, acting as the main point of contact for GDPR and privacy matters. Working closely with the DPO, Legal, and Compliance teams, youβll support end-to-end data protection processes across customer-facing digital platforms, marketing activity, and transformation programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
β’ Advising on GDPR compliance for new and existing customer data projects
β’ Leading and managing DPIAs, DPAs, DSARs, and privacy risk assessments
β’ Supporting audits, compliance monitoring, and risk register reporting
β’ Reviewing contracts and privacy notices with Legal and Procurement
β’ Engaging with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams
β’ Supporting digital initiatives including websites, apps, AI solutions, and personalisation programmes
Key requirements:
β’ CIPP/E certification (mandatory)
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience in Data Protection / GDPR roles
β’ Strong experience with DPIAs, DPAs, GDPR, and stakeholder engagement
β’ Confident communicator able to balance privacy risk and commercial needs
β’ Background in large, complex or highly regulated organisations preferred
