Data Protection Solicitor

I'm currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm based in Bristol, who are seeking an experienced Locum Solicitor to provide support to their busy Information Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong expertise in information and privacy law to work with a respected firm on a remote, flexible basis. Ideally the firm are looking for a locum with prior Private Practice experience but open to considering all options. Key Areas of Experience Required: • Data protection and e-privacy • Freedom of information (including environmental information regulations) • Privacy law - including misuse of private information and ECHR right to privacy • Law of confidence • Defamation • Any experience advising on the legal aspects of artificial intelligence would be highly advantageous Details: • Location: Fully remote • Hours: Full-time or part-time considered • Duration: Ongoing - initially for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension due to team workload • Start date: ASAP
