The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) requests the services of one Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer specialist, hereafter referred to as βWorker,β who meets the general qualifications of Specialist and the specifications outlined in this
document for the Employees Retirement System of Texas.
General Description:
This role is for an AI Data Reconciliation Specialist. It is technical in nature and will require firsthand Artificial Intelligence (AI) coding. This role also requires extraordinarily strong experience in eliciting data reconciliation requirements from stakeholders and developing AI solutions and output utilizing Azure services.
The worker must have solid direct experience designing and implementing an automated, repeatable, and auditable data reconciliation framework utilizing AI. This will include processing, reconciling, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis, as well as performing adβhoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner. Focused on generating, maintaining, and delivering detailed and accurate reporting on the information gathered and reported by artificial intelligence systems, with the goal of maximizing ROI from the rush of new data generated. The worker will rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, will independently perform a variety of complicated tasks, and lead and direct the work of others.
The worker will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in functional aspects of data reconciliation as well as AI development during the interview process.
Functional Responsibilities:
ERS is seeking an AI Data Reconciliation Specialist with impeccable AI skills, including experience in developing AI data reconciliation frameworks. The worker must be confident in having detailed conversations with the users at the functional level, with developers at the technical level, and has experience in writing advanced SQL, analyzing data, and developing AI code using Azure services.
The worker will be responsible for:
β’ Designing and implementing an automated, repeatable, and auditable data reconciliation framework
β’ Building AI-assisted reconciliation pipelines for:
o Row-level validation
o Aggregate validation
o Anomaly detection
o Root-cause analysis
β’ Supporting large-scale data migrations and ongoing system integrations
β’ Replacing manual, error-prone reconciliation processes with scalable automation
β’ Establishing reconciliation controls, logging, traceability, and auditability
The ideal worker would have deep experience in pension modernization data reconciliation projects; have been a hands-lead team
member developing an AI reconciliation framework and have strong experience in Azure.

Minimum:
