Don't miss your chance and apply now! • • Contact to Hire • • What you will be doing as the Senior Data Reporting Analyst: • Support our Workers’ Compensation reporting. • Analyze monthly Unit Statistical Reports to correct data and ensure reporting accuracy • Effectively utilizes reporting procedures that designate the use of checklists and submission logs. • Collects and analyzes data for validity and accuracy in preparation of assigned reports. • Develops and maintains department databases and assesses quality of data used in reports. • Develop knowledge of data sources content and structure to assess the quality of data. • Use Workers’ Compensation reporting knowledge to educate underwriters and claim adjusters on requirements. Identify and make recommendations for resolution of identified issues in data and reporting quality. • Utilizes department / company software to prepare moderately complex data queries. • Develops understanding of industry products/coverages and applies that knowledge to support business activity. • Performs other duties as assigned. What you will need as the Senior Data Reporting Analyst: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience. • 3 or more years of related experience in data reporting required, 5 or more years preferred. • Must have Workers’ Compensation experience. • Experience in the insurance industry preferred. • Knowledge of reporting and data analysis tools such as Excel & SQL. Knowledge of Unit Statistical Reports and Indemnity Data Call submissions to NCCI and other reporting bureaus. • Excellent analytical skills; have a high level of attention to detail. • Strong planning and organizing skills and the ability to meet deadlines. • Strong self-starter, balanced with a desire to achieve team goals.
