Role description
We are seeking a skilled Data Science Engineer with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and cloud-based data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs such as Claude, strong proficiency in Python, and experience building scalable data and AI solutions in the healthcare domain. This role involves developing AI-driven applications, managing data pipelines, and ensuring secure handling of healthcare data.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models and data-driven solutions
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Implement and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Claude
• Work with healthcare data including claims and EHR/EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics and AI solutions
• Optimize model performance and data workflows in cloud environments
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Machine Learning and AI/ML frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., Claude, GPT)
• Experience with AWS AI/ML services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, S3)
• Strong SQL and data processing skills
• Experience building data pipelines / ETL workflows
• Experience working with healthcare data (mandatory)
Healthcare & Domain Requirements
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, or CDA
• Experience working with EHR/EMR or healthcare claims data
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Spark, Airflow, or similar data processing tools
• Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
• Experience deploying AI/ML models in production environments
