New Contract Opportunity for Data Scientist Role Location: London, Hybrid- 2 days Contract Duration: 6 Months IR35 Status: Inside IR35 The Role We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to drive insights and intelligent solutions across data-intensive environments. In this role, you will design and develop advanced machine learning and GenAI-powered models that enable predictive analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Working with modern data platforms, high-quality datasets, and cutting-edge AI frameworks, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and analytics teams to build scalable, explainable, and production-ready solutions that support digital transformation initiatives. Your Profile Essential Skills & Experience • 5–12 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related roles • Strong hands-on experience with GenAI, including Gemini or open-source LLMs • Experience building GenAI applications such as code translation, summarisation, text extraction, and SDLC optimisation • Hands-on experience with AI Agents, chatbots, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and vector databases (e.g., PGVector, ChromaDB) • Experience with GenAI evaluation tools such as RAGAS, DeepEval, or Pegasus • Strong programming skills in Python (LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith) and preferably TypeScript • Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and graph-based workflows • Experience implementing guardrails (hallucination control, PII filtering, bias mitigation) • Knowledge of API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems • Experience with API Gateways, ISTIO, and diagnosing end-to-end system communication issues
