Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Data Scientist 3 to join their team. As a Data Scientist 3, you will be part of the Analytics and Research department supporting cross-functional teams focused on enhancing product and user experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and a passion for data-driven insights, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Scientist 3 Location:Redmond, WA Pay Range: $51.77 - $56.97 What's the Job? โ€ข Design, execute, and analyze large-scale surveys, experiments, and observational studies to gather actionable insights. โ€ข Apply inferential statistical methods such as regression, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis to answer research questions. โ€ข Develop sampling strategies, weighting schemes, and data quality checks to ensure statistical rigor. โ€ข Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders. โ€ข Translate quantitative insights into practical recommendations for product, design, and strategy teams. What's Needed? โ€ข Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, psychology, economics, data science, or sociology. โ€ข 5-7 years of experience in quantitative analysis or research, preferably in product, UX, or applied research contexts. โ€ข Strong foundation in statistical inference and experimental or quasi-experimental methods. โ€ข Proficiency in at least one programming language such as R or Python. โ€ข Excellent communication skills to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
