AI/ML β Full Time/ Contract β Remote (on-demand to client office)
The Role
We are looking for a Principal data scientist to serve as the statistical voice of the organization. Youβll work inside our customerβs organization β embedded, hands-on, building. This is a solution engineering role where you will write production code, develop solution to translate full power of data science into a clear and actionable insights.
Key Responsibility
Lead the end-to-end development of AI solutions: design, build, test, and deploy models that are robust, scalable, and used by real users.
Continuously improve model quality through tuning, evaluation, and feedback from production usage.
Evaluate third-party AI solutions with a critical eye on performance, scalability, and integration into production environments.
Collaborate with engineering and business partners to define requirements, shape roadmaps, and ensure successful delivery of AI products.
Comfortable supporting stakeholders who are early in their ML and AI journey
MUST HAVE SKILLS
10+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or quantitative research spanning industry and/or academia.
Shape the direction of data science areas - segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction and insights.
Extensive experience in applying Data Science / ML for the end-to-end development and deployment of data-driven products for solving business problems.
Broad expertise across data science disciplines: experimentation, causal inference, feature engineering, forecasting, optimization, and deep learning.
Deep understanding of MLOps in production environments
Strong coding skills in general purpose languages like Spark, distributed computing, Scala or Python, and familiarity with software engineering principles around testing, code reviews and deployment.
Extensive experience in developing applications on databricks platforms
Exceptional written and verbal communication β the ability to make complex statistical concepts intuitive and compelling for non-technical executives
Ability to self-start
Patience and a coaching mindset
Software & platform engineering mindset on API design, system design, scalability, performance optimisation

Familiarity with Agentic AI framework and development skills
