Data Scientist – AI/ML W2 ONLY Location: Onsite – Berkeley Heights, NJ Employment Type: W2 Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in AI/ML and hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models in a cloud environment to solve complex business problems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, train, and deploy ML models using AWS SageMaker • Build end-to-end ML pipelines (data prep, feature engineering, model training, deployment) • Work with structured and unstructured datasets • Perform model validation, tuning, and performance optimization • Collaborate with engineering teams for production deployment • Monitor models in production and improve performance over time Required Skills: • 10+ years of experience in Data Science / AI/ML • Strong hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker • Expertise in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) • Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, ECR, CloudWatch) • Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, statistics, and data modeling • Experience building and deploying scalable ML solutions Preferred: • Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to NLP, deep learning, or LLMs • Financial services domain experience is a plus NOTE: This position is strictly W2 only.
