Westwood Talents is partnering with a leading AI lab to engage independent Data Science Experts for research and applied experimentation. Youβll support data-driven model improvement, performance evaluation, and scalable experimentation workflows.
Location eligibility (must be based in): United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
What youβll do
β’ Analyze large datasets to surface insights for model refinement
β’ Build and apply statistical/ML methods and evaluation frameworks
β’ Assess model performance and review output/data quality
β’ Create reusable tools for processing, visualization, and reporting
β’ Collaborate with research teams to test hypotheses and scale experiments
What weβre looking for
β’ 3+ years in data science, ML, or related analytical work
β’ Strong Python and core libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
β’ Solid statistics, experimental design, and model validation skills
β’ Comfort with large-scale data workflows and version control
β’ Clear written communication and cross-team collaboration

β’ Independent contractor, fully remote, flexible schedule
β’ Expected commitment: 10+ hours/week
β’ Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
