⚡Senior Data Scientist | Energy & Utilities | Fully Remote (UK) | £480/day | Immediate Start ⚡ Smart Meter Data Analysis I’m currently supporting an Energy & Utilities client who are looking to hire 2x Senior Data Scientists on an initial 3-month rolling contract with strong extension potential. 📍 UK Home Based – 100% Remote 💰 £480/day (Inside IR35) 📅 Initial 3 months (high likelihood of extension) 🚀 Start required no later than mid-July This is a specialist requirement and we’re looking for candidates with Energy & Utilities experience — particularly across billing, metering, and upstream data components. You’re likely to have worked with well known energy suppliers. Key experience required: • Smart meter data analysis (half-hourly / interval data) • Identifying and resolving data quality issues • Missing meter read estimation models • Anomaly detection and consumption pattern analysis • VEE (Validation, Estimation & Editing) processes • Billing discrepancy investigation linked to upstream data issues • Building scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines • Working closely with billing and operational teams • Translating technical outputs into business insight This is a great opportunity to join a high-impact programme focused on improving data quality, billing accuracy and operational performance.
