Job Summary
The Data Scientist builds analytical products to improve business processes. Responsibilities include:
• Developing algorithms for automation
• Building predictive models
• Designing experiments
• Performing causal inference using observational data
• Applying mathematical optimization to identify profitable business policies
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive adoption of analytical products
Required Qualifications
Education
• Master's degree in a Statistical or Mathematical field such as:
• Engineering
• Social Science
• Statistics
Experience & Skills
• 2+ years of experience with:
• Predictive modeling
• Statistical inference
• Quantitative analysis
• Experience with:
• TensorFlow
• PyTorch
• Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in:
• Python and/or R
• Experience with:
• Data exploration and visualization
• Linux/Unix environments
• SQL
• Data preparation, merging, recoding, and transformation
• Working with observational data for causal inference (matching, weighting, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
• Doctorate (PhD) in a Statistical or Mathematical field
• Experience designing experiments
