Role description
Data Scientist Contract – Outside of IR35 Day Rate £450 - £550 p/day Part Time contract – 2/3 days a week Duration – 6 - 9 months (could extend) Location London – Remote with some capabilities to visit the office (perhaps once or twice during the initial contract). Neulinx has partnered with an innovative fintech startup at the forefront of AI-driven financial market analysis. Our client is transforming how UK organizations approach treasury by blending cutting-edge technology with top-tier expertise. They are developing a groundbreaking platform that delivers real-time market insights and predictive analytics for financial professionals. They are looking to bring on a Data Scientist to work part time 2-3 days a week, at least until the end of the year. This could increase depending on workload. Role Requirements • Build and refine the AI-powered data insights capabilities of our client’s application, with a focus on prompt engineering to interpret trading data. • Design effective prompts by experimenting with different prompt formulas to determine the most valuable and accurate responses from the AI model. • Develop metric frameworks to assess the performance of the prompts. • Analyse client data around trades, risk profile, financials, and classification to drive actionable insights within reports. • Work with data lakes / data warehouses to standardise and collate data from various sources. • Collaborate with software engineers who work on .NET/C# to ensure data models are integrated into our architecture. Requirements • Proven experience in data science with a focus on data standardisation prompt engineering. • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and programming (Python, R, SQL) – ML is not a hard requirement.
