We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist / Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and deliver advanced analytics solutions across our clientβs business in the postal service sector.
Day-to-day of the role:
β’ Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
β’ Utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for text analysis, sentiment analysis, and generative AI applications.
β’ Build and maintain production-grade ML pipelines using CI/CD, MLOps, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
β’ Conduct A/B testing and randomized control trials to validate model performance and business impact.
β’ Perform data analysis on structured and unstructured datasets using Python, SQL, and big data frameworks (Hadoop, PySpark).
β’ Develop and optimize data retrieval systems using RAG, FAISS, Elasticsearch, and other retrieval algorithms.
β’ Implement time-series forecasting and anomaly detection for performance monitoring and optimization.
β’ Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights effectively.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
β’ Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
β’ Hands-on experience with ML algorithms and deep learning architectures.
β’ Expertise in NLP techniques and frameworks, familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and deployment.
β’ Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms.
β’ Strong understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring tools.
β’ Proficiency in data visualization tools.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
β’ Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field. Postgraduate qualification in Big Data Analytics / AI is desirable.
