About the Role
The Machine Data Insights team within Machine Analytics is looking for a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our growing analytics organization. Youβll work on projects that drive product development, aftermarket analytics, demand forecasting, and strategic business insights.
Our mission is to understand our customers where their work gets done β revealing machine usage insights that help them work safer, smarter, and more productively.
Basic Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
β’ Professional experience in data analysis, or a Masterβs/PhD degree.
β’ Strong hands-on experience with Python (NumPy, pandas, SciPy, etc.) and data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Predictive Analytics, or related fields.
β’ Experience applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques (Clustering, Random Forests, SVM, Neural Networks, etc.).
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
β’ Experience with industrial or heavy equipment design (automotive, aerospace, construction, mining, etc.).
β’ Strong analytical mindset with curiosity to explore new technologies and methods.
