Role description
Our healthcare client is seeking a Data Scientist with 4–8 years of experience designing and deploying advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions. This individual will work with large, complex healthcare datasets to develop predictive models, generate actionable insights, and support data-informed business and clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI, along with the ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business outcomes. A Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field is required. Experience working in healthcare, including claims, clinical, provider, or member data, is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business problems
• Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, feature engineering processes, and model performance
• Leverage Python and SQL for data extraction, analysis, modeling, and automation
• Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities to support intelligent workflows, automation, and decision support solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and analytics leaders
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure data quality, model governance, and compliance with healthcare data standards and privacy requirements
Required Qualifications
• 4–8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Exposure to or experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
