Role description
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive innovative solutions? We are on the lookout for a talented Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our comprehensive end-to-end ad stack, covering infrastructure, measurement, delivery, ranking, and the advertiser experience. Your primary focus will be on aligning our app ads delivery system with key performance metrics valued by advertisers, enabling us to accelerate our app business growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop wide-ranging technical expertise across the entire advertising ecosystem, solve complex and ambiguous challenges, and collaborate with a highly skilled, cross-functional team committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in ad technology.
Responsibilities
• Understand and optimize the app ads delivery stack to improve performance as perceived by advertisers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in ad measurement, delivery, and ranking systems.
• Deeply analyze ambiguous problem spaces and develop technical solutions.
• Build and refine ML systems to enhance ad performance and user experience.
• Contribute to the development of scalable, robust, and efficient analytics and ad delivery solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of work experience in analytics (minimum of 4 years with a Ph.D.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R).
• Strong technical skills with experience working with ML systems.
• Comfort working in a technically complex, ambiguous environment.
• Previous ad experience preferred, but not essential.
