Data Scientist – Databricks AI Platform
Contract | 16 weeks | ASAP | Up to £650/day
SR2 is partnering with an exciting client to deliver a Databricks AI Platform Buildout. We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support the implementation of production-ready AI solutions.
You’ll be working on:
• Databricks AI platform implementation
• Bronze, Silver and Gold Delta pipelines
• AI agents, vector databases and unstructured data processing
• LLMOps, prompt management and context engineering
• Productionising AI solutions
• Building lightweight front-end applications
You’ll bring:
• 4+ years’ Data Science experience
• 2+ years’ consulting experience
• Strong Databricks knowledge, including PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and MLflow
• Experience with Databricks AI features and agentic frameworks
• Python, GitHub and CI/CD experience
• Proven experience delivering AI/LLM solutions into production
• Existing Databricks DPP vetting is essential
